More and more there are studies by therapists and scientists that "prove" what many human beings know by experience and intuition - Dogs, cats, parrots, horses and other companion animals have therapeutic benefits for those who interact with them.  The healing and supportive talents of animals are many and we feel they should be studied further. At Eden Dogsledding and Dog-Sledding-On-Wheels we have had many stories from our guests about their interactions with our dogs and the beautiful Vermont mountain environment here at Eden Mountain Dog Sledding has had a lasting effect on their lives.   We respect the privacy of our guests, but in the future we will be offering the testimonials of those that wish to share their stories with the public.  Our website is currently in basic development  - we are currently trying to get all the basic information, intro videos, links, book reviews and interviews posted.  But Please check back in the months to come for more on Dog Therapy and some of the magic that our dogs are sharing with our many visitors.

In the meantime we offer a link to our Book and DVD review section where  you may find some interesting books on the topic or related books of interest.  The book reviews are linked directly to Amazon - if you buy a book or other choices by going through one of our links - Amazon credits us which helps us move towards our dream of being a non-profit educational center. May we suggest Mark Beckoff's book -  THE EMOTIONAL LIFE OF ANIMALS.  Beckoff is considered to be one of the top professors in the field of animal consciousess; he a colleague of well known author, chimpanzee authority and animal rights champion, Jane Goodall.
